Back in 2015 I got back into Naruto because of FE Fates. Can you blame me?

Ya got spicy Kakashi with the nice boob window and $1 bootleg Jiraiya that are marriable units. The writing of the game is a little terrible but worth it for the husbando/waifu line up and great music.

The Moon, The Star

The Moon: Describe a dream (or nightmare) you’ve had recently.

“Hm… I do have this reoccurring dream that I have wings. I can’t fly with them, but they’re beautiful, and they glow. I feel almost like a butterfly. But… the dream always gets scary if I stay asleep for too long. People don’t like my wings. They want to clip them, even though I can’t fly in the first place.”

The Star: What inspires you?

“Books. When I was little, my dad started it. He used to read to me every night before bed. I wanted to be a detective, just like Encyclopedia Brown! But… now I’m not so sure what I want to know. All I know is that I still love books, and that reading a good book makes me want to do something meaningful with my life.

…Sometimes, I think about becoming a writer myself.”

The Chariot: Have you ever had to fight for something?

Hinami doesn’t like fighting, and for a long time, she wouldn’t do it even to stand up for herself. After her father died, there were a lot of rumors going around at her school in Tokyo about what had happened. She tried to ignore them, but eventually the tension escalated into a fight between her and a girl in her class over the way the girl was talking about her father. She was suspended, and she moved to Kairos before ever going back to school.

Hinami hated herself for the way she’d acted in that fight. She never wants to have to fight again, but she has learned that she has a limit for how far she can let things go.

Temperance: Do you have good self control?

Hinami likes to think that her self-control is okay–about average, give or take a little. In reality, it is absolutely atrocious. She can’t enter a bookstore without picking up a new book; the only way she manages at her workplace is by making sure to bring the book she’s currently reading so that she gets absorbed in that instead. If she begins to get bored in class and the thought strikes her that she should take out a book, doodle, or write, she is unable to push the thought from her head and is immediately distracted. If she really likes a certain kind of food, she’ll eat it until she feels sick, because it’s just so good, how was she supposed to realize she’d eaten so much.

It’s kind of a problem.

“Are you dead?”

Ed bothered to open up both of his eyes this time, furrowing his eyebrows at the woman standing above him.

“No. Why do people keep asking me that? Can’t a guy nap in the park in peace?”

“Why is family so important to you?”

Hinami bit her lip, looking down at her lap sadly. “My dad used to be my best friend. He always had the best book recommendations, and we would play cards together even though I was never any good. He died when I was 13.

Now my mom is all I have, and I know better than to take her for granted. She’s really busy working trying to take care of both of us, but we bake cookies together sometimes. And when I got upset over seeing Gigi at the shelter, she went back and got her for me. And nothing compares to the taste of her takoyaki.” At the memory, Hinami was smiling again, albeit not as brightly as she normally did.

“I don’t know; I guess I just know what it’s like to have people who are close to you taken away.”

“Are you dead?”

Ed heard the question, and cracked an eye open to see who asked it. He considered his answer.

“No,” he settled on. “Never seen a guy take a nap in the park before?”

The grass was soft, and he had nothing better to do. He closed his eyes again.

“Don’t mind me, I just like making new friends!”

Hinami, admittedly, hadn’t noticed the other girl sitting across from her at the table until she’d spoken. She always read during lunch, and it took a lot to grab her attention when she was engrossed in a book. She smiled at the unfamiliar girl; sometimes, she didn’t mind being interrupted.

“Hello; my name is Hinami.”

“Oops, did I do that?.. Oh well.”

Hinami yelped as coffee spilled across the counter towards her book, quickly yanking it out of the way. She chose not to acknowledge the woman’s glib way of acknowledging the spill--perks of working in customer service.

“Don’t worry about it, Miss; it happens all the time. I’ll clean it up and get you a new cup.”

She took out a rag and started wiping down the mess.
