I should be allowed and encouraged to stop talking and only make non human based noises when I feel like it, combining that with physical communication. I want to whine and growl, I want hop around when I'm excited, I want to paw at someone or lay on the ground and assume a play position, I want nuzzle someone or make content noises as I get pet, I want to bark and awoowoo and hiss, I want to butt my head against someone's shoulder hard, and whatever other delightful things I feel like doing.

I'm not bad with social cues because I'm autistic I just don't understand humans because I'm not one :3

I don't have human vision issues my pupils are just the wrong shape :3

My constant knee and lower back pain isn't something I need to get checked I'm just supposed to have hooves :3

I don't have to address my neck pain it's just the weight of my horns :3

I don't have balance issues that need to be addressed I'm just not supposed to be plantigrade :3

I don't have a stutter I'm just a dog and not supposed to be speaking human :3

I don't have a lying problem I'm just fae we're known for tricking people :3

I don't need to address the actual reason I'm depressed I'm just not in my nature habitat :3

I'm not getting skill regression I'm just a dog you wouldn't expect a dog to be able to do that :3

Ok yea this videos incredibly hard to watch AND understand so I’ll give a quick rundown

Basically, this was when we first discovered we were satyr otherkin

and at the time we never considered the fact that we could be otherkin, and only searched up our “symptoms” in the context of therian

then we had an epiphany because we realized we’ve been representing ourselves as a satyr for years and our “symptoms” line up perfectly with a satyr’s

it’s dumb, it’s cringe, and it’s outdated I mean LOOK at that haircut EW
