Many Yo-kai have the same Japanese names as their origins. A few examples include Gutso being Nekomata, Faux Kappa being Kappa (which is also a name shared by a different Yo-kai from Forever Friends), Frostina being Yuki-onna, and Noko being Tsuchinoko.
