Faux Self’s genderbend* !
Haven’t decided what to call her! Usually such an abstract name stays the same for both versions but I’m tempted to name her Dolly Molly...
your... hey... your husk is slightly... on fire...
Photoshop brush tests~
Agitation, or Aggy for short. As the opposite of Sedation, her composition is significantly more solid than his (but still sticky and slimy)
She’s short, short tempered, and short on time to deal with this bullshit. She’s also somehow an 80s business woman with shoulder pads to spare.
Agitation has her life completely together, or at least she thinks so, because she can’t quite scrutinize her own life when everyone around her is off doing whatever dangerous bullshit of the day which inevitably gets Deity involved.
Aggy has an almost parental dynamic with Deity (whom she calls Venus), almost in that it’s like Aggy is an overworked business mom and Deity is her spinster hippie sister (the wacky aunt, if you will) who lives life going with the flow and letting the wind guide them around, which exasperates Aggy because they have no life goals or solid ambitions. Even though Deity is aromantic, Aggy insists they find themself a date because she thinks that’s just something you do to be mature (her preoccupation with checking on Deity along with the others has prevented her from realizing she herself is aro, since she’s sworn off any personal ventures till Deity is where Aggy wants them)
On a more serious note, Agitation holds some grudges against Deity involving their lack of responsibility, and is likely responsible herself to make up for it. But on the other hand, Aggy is protective of Deity since they are more or less an omnipotent child. She just can’t stay that mad at them forever. Even though she’s angry all the time anyways.
To the others, Agitation maintains a largely neutral but non-aggressive relationship. Unless any of them do something to tick her off, in which she indiscriminately flips her shit at. She genuinely likes Zoetrope, but finds Zoe’s pining for Deity pathetic because all they do is make weak attempts at flirting.
Agitation is a bit less amiable with Truefiend. She still does some work for him despite him being, well, evil, and she being good. She doesn’t mind running errands as it gives her something normal to do but his general demeanor pisses her off.
She has a downright negative attitude towards Faux Self, particularly when he interferes with her or Deity’s business. In general, it frustrates her how he breaks anything he gets his hands on, and on purpose, no less.
The material that makes up Agitation has healing and medicinal properties. She tastes like honey but make an attempt to see if she really does and she will actually annihilate you (and as expected, won’t use her material to bring you back)
False Angel’s anti is Truefiend. Probably might wanna put a Dr. right before that, cause he has a PhD and won’t let you forget it.
Truefiend had a great upbringing, received an excellent education, and joined the army effort as a wartime scientist to develop chemical weapons. He’s also got an ego and superiority complex big enough to crush the opposition on their own.
However, he gets really steamed when assumed just because he’s a scientist (specifically, a chemist) that by default he’s great at everything science-related. As much as he’d love to brag he can do anything, because damn if he doesn’t already believe that, but constantly repairing a hunk of junk like Zoe grates on his nerves coupled with how he barely knows what he’s doing to them.
Physical prowess is also not Truefiend’s strong suit so if he got into a fistfight, or had to run a long distance, he’d probably die. But damn if he didn’t at least try to appear as if he could do them without dying.
He’s not a mad scientist by any means, just a jerk with a penchant for creating concoctions people like the alchemists of centuries past only dreamed of. But to be honest, he has no real reason to, since he’s not getting paid. His only incentives to continue his work is intimidation from Faux Self and his own desire to not just be one of the greats, but rise above them to where he believes he should be. It’s also a way to keep himself busy and stave off boredom.
The left side of his body is riddled with chemical burns.
