I'm glad that Noah and Charlie rewatched the "Being a freak is the best" scene. It's one of my favorites of the show, like all the Will and Jon scenes. Their relationship is special to me, and Noah and Charlie really make you feel their brotherly love.

Day 3 - Favorite Relationship

Most definitely it’s Flint and Silver.

It starts out with Flint outright disliking Silver. Silver is nothing but a means to an end. And it takes a while for that to change but as Silver himself pointed out: “We might be friends by then”.

I definitely don’t think Flint wanted to let someone else in, especially not after everything he’d lost, everything he’d done, in the name of his war. And Silver most definitely did not want to forge any sort of connection with Flint, he just wanted to survive and, as he pointed out many times, Flint was his best chance for that.

But over time they both come to realize that, despite their initial plans, they have become so wrapped up in each others orbits that they don’t know how to be without the other. Silver has slipped past past Flint’s defences and Flint has opened up and become vulnerable in ways to Silver he never did even with Gates. They have become such fixed points in one anothers lives that there truly was no daylight between them. They’re bond so strong that, as Billy pointed out, only they themselves could destroy it.

Clarke Griffin Appreciation Week

Day 4: Favorite relationship

Out of all the relationships that Clarke has throughout the years, I find the most complex and driven relationship was with Bellamy. I may ship the pair but that is not why this is my favorite relationship of Clarke's. There were many characters and relationships she had that enhanced who she was and morphed who she became. And Bellamy was there almost through it all. (Aside from the six years she was on Earth with Madi)

Clarke, although stubborn and independent, relied on the Bellamy in more ways than one. While in the show they were not romantic, their relationship still had a very strong foundation in history. From the beginning there was always a push and pull relationship between the two. There was arguing and fighting, as well as the looking down on one another. But by the end of the day when it came down to trusting one person with everything that they had, they chose each other.

Clarke Griffin is her own person, her own woman, but that doesn't mean she doesn't have another half. Clarke is the logical one out of the two, the head. She did what she had to do when she pulled the first lover at the drop ship, knowing it could kill Bellamy and Finn. Clarke was the one who used her head and talked with the commander on making peace. She was the bridge between the grounders and skiakru.

And Bellamy, although in the first season hide his softer side from everyone, thinks with his feelings. Taking back to how he treated Charlotte, then to the girl hanging over the mountainside in season 2 when the arc station crash landed onto Earth. Then again when they traveled into Azgeda's territory in order to take the water machine from farm station. He voted to destroy the one thing that keep them alive in order to save the tortured souls of the innocent. Clarke and Bellamy balance each other out with the way they think and act. They are The Head and the heart, the other half to one another.

They went from enemies to allies to best friends. They built a foundation of trust and understanding in the midst of loneliness and war. And while in the show they never became lovers, their dynamic together will forever hold strong.
