An anon asked me what my favourite mug was. Screen buttons are too close together so I accidentally deleted it when I tried to reply, so I figured I'd make a post. Hopefully anon sees it.
First, some exposition, my beloved.
A few years ago, I had had a shiiiiiiiit day at work. I'm talking blatantly sobbing in the middle of the grocery store Bad Day. I was shopping for dinner and walked into the kitchen aisle and happened upon a mug which made me laugh through my tears and I picked it up immediately.
I had had such a bad day that up to that point, which I believe to have been between five and six in the evening, I hasn't smiled or laughed at all. It was a truly awful day. So for that mug to have made me laugh, how could I not have bought it?
To this day, it's my favourite mug because looking at it reminds me that something will make me laugh or smile even on my blackest days. Something.
It's a big mug, too! It can fit two regular sized coffee mugs inside it, content wise. My mug is the one on the left, and for size comparison is my dad's mug on the right.
It's easier than you'd think to drink nine of these mugs in a seventeen hour day (530am-1030pm) and I don't even notice my coffee consumption anymore. I'm not saying that's a good thing but, you know.
Best £8 I ever spent.
Cyclone Dovi has hit the North Island. I live in the South Island so we are getting rain, rain and more rain. In the North it is sand-bag your boundary and tie down your trampoline type of weather so I should not complain. I am taking a tea break in my sewing room and it does appear that it has stopped raining for the moment. I have been making masks. I really want to get them done. I promised I would but have been severely lacking in motivation lately so the time is now. After I have finished my cup of tea and chocolate biscuits that is.

October Studyblr Challenge 🧡🦇🎃
• Day 15: Favorite mug.
My Harry Potter mug, obviously. I've been trying to find time to decorate one of the big, plane, white ones I use for tea, because I love how comfy to pick they are, how much liquid I can put in them, and how I can wrap my hands around them to warm them with the heat of the tea in winter! But they're (still) plain white, so I'll go with my HP mug, yeh.
And another day, thanks for tagging me @studyburst !!!
Ready to rock this semester 🦉
