Brown Earth-Class Dragons: Fawlttlyne and Tektonyk

Fawlttlyne is a beast of an Earth-Class dragon, bigger even than Rumbull and armored like a tank. Because of this, he absolutely never races, and for the safety of everyone around him, doesn’t play Drag-Ball. But that doesn’t mean that Fawlttlyne doesn’t get up to anything, quite the contrary, he is a busy dragon indeed. Because of his great size and strength, he is the perfect dragon for the purpose of excavation work. When the call came out for mighty Brown dragons with sharp chins and strong muscles—something about an ambitious project to expand Dragon-City’s infrastructure into the bedrock of the canyon—Fawlttlyne was the first dragon to volunteer. The humans in charge were surprised, of course; dragons didn’t usually have the presence of mind to do something on their own like that. But Fawlttlyne’s great size and strength both impressed and intimidated them; they’d be fools to deny his help. They gave him gear and orders, and simply stood back and watched.

Tektonyk is a draconic member of the Will of the Dragon crew, and a fierce specimen of Earth indeed. Alongside his rider Shyft, Tektonyk is a famed Drag-Ball player of fearsome renown. Though not nearly as famous or beloved as Kawake and Rumbull were/are, Tektonyk and his rider certainly do make their leaders and predecessors proud. Though they have yet to win many tournaments or championships, exhibition matches here and there that feature him usually end in Shyft holding a trophy and letting Tektonyk lead the way home. While Shyft greatly admires and respects Kawake, her hero and her crew leader, Tektonyk doesn’t hold Rumbull to quite the same regard. Not that he dares to disrespect the fellow Earth, of course, but Tektonyk has never seen Rumbull’s greatness first hand. True to the Brown tendency of not judging, Tektonyk reserves both his loathe and his praise till he knows it’s worthy.
