not to be confused with babysitters club. don’t tell mom the babysitter’s dead is your ticket to the 1991 teen cool club. the movie plot is ideal for all those who are still lucky enough to be living with their parents. the mom in the movie moves to australia and leaves behind not 1, not 2... but 5 kids alone in a house with little to no money. sound like a maury episode? on top of mom’s sick microphone drop on all her kids, she decides she is going to hire a complete stranger from the senior center to watch over these kids. we can see early signs of dementia in the babysitter and we are told from unconfirmed sources that these “senior moments” were unscripted events that the director just left in for effect.
as everyone predicts, the babysitter dies from COVID-1991 leaving all the kids to fend for themselves. the oldest kid, the daughter who looks like she should have graduated high school already, decides to take on a job for some bread. of course, as luck would have it, she finds a job as an assistant for some lady who is way too trusting of other people. she makes that bread all while she is constantly harassed by what we think is the love interest in the movie. the dude drives a corn dog ice cream truck by the way. and also, that truck just coincidentally shows up when the kids need a ride at night. thats how the creepers used to stalk without facebook, kids.
the lid on the whole operation blows because mom quickly finds out that the babysitter is kinda MIA. the daughter’s cover is blown at work by some lady that no one likes in reception. lets not forget the sexual harassment claims against her other co-worker named gus. yes, i agree that anyone named gus has a 86% chance of harassing another co-worker in the office setting.
mom comes home and shes pissed. well shes mostly pissed because she doesnt know how the kids disposed of the babysitter’s body. she has little time to get her story straight with the cops. cue the “im disappointed but also a lil proud of u” music when mom finally gets home. also corn dog guy gets the girl. all in all, i did enjoy this movie and all of its un-PC moments. RIP babysitter
Hybrid PAPR Reduction Scheme for Universal Filter Multi-Carrier Modulation in Next Generation Wireless Systems: Crimson Publishers
Hybrid PAPR Reduction Scheme for Universal Filter Multi-Carrier Modulation in Next Generation Wireless Systems by Himanshu Monga in Crimson Publishers: Peer Reviewed Material Science Journals
Universal filter multi carrier (UFMC) is one of the promising multi carrier modulation techniques for next generation wireless communication systems. UFMC seems to be most attractive because it provides better sub carrier separation like FBMC (Filer Bank Multi Carrier) and less complexity like OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing). But this technique suffers from limitation of higher Peak to Average Power Ratio (PAPR). In this paper a Hybrid PAPR reduction technique SC- UFMC have been proposed using SLM (Selective Mapping) and Clipping. The performance of proposed technique is evaluated for various design parameters including filter length, FFT size and Bits per sub carrier. The simulation results show that hybrid technique provides better PAPR reduction as compared with conventional SLM and clipping techniques.

This paper presents an extensive and fair comparison among the most promising waveform contenders for the 5G air interface which includes- Filtered OFDM, Filter-bank multi carrier (FBMC), universal filtered multi-carrier (UFMC) has been compared with OFDM in terms of spectral efficiency and bit error rate using mat lab. The disadvantages of OFDM have been addressed and it has shown that (fofdm), (UFMC), (FBMC) could be a more effective solution. FBMC is a method for improving out of band (OOB) characteristics by filtering each subcarrier, it is also expected to improve the Inter-Carrier Interference (ICI) characteristics while UFMC is a method for improving OOB characteristics by filtering each block.

The rollout of fifth generation(5G) wireless communication technology provides high spectral efficiency, high speed, greater density of users, high capacity, pseudo outdoor communication etc. In the year 2020, the data consumption is expected to increase 30% which cannot be supported by the current technologies such as 3G and 4G. The (4G) mobile communication uses Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) technique in various systems like '“ Wi-MAX. Now as the technology is being advanced to 5G, there are some drawbacks of OFDM like '“ peak to average power ratio (PAPR), out of band emissions (OOB), and use of cyclic prefix (CP).In this paper, the drawbacks of Ofdm in Lte has been removed using the waveforms contenders like - UFMC, FBMC, and GFDM overwhelmingly welcomed for the 5G air interface. The major applications of 5G are Internet of Things (IoT), Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) communication, Machine to Any (M2X) communication
