Of course, silly. It's Petal Meadows. It's always breezy around...[looks down] Heehee...oops! I must've left my hoodie with Sonic and Tails. 9('u')9 Oh well... It's always warm around Petal Meadows...

To be honest, his reactions vary a lot from time to time.

My first actual transformation freaked the shell outta him. Well...it didn't exactly help that my first one was...kinda beastly...

While some of my forms have creeped him out...

...he's enjoyed some of my other ones. Occasionally at my expense...

...but then sometimes not.

While he tends to get as tired of my constant forced shapeshifting as I do...

...we learn to make the best of the situation and have fun with it while we can.

I don't think my transformations surprise him anymore. At this point, it's like he expects it's only a matter of time before his son's next one.

((Trip down transformation memory lane! As time-consuming as this one was, I kinda had fun with it. Pulling up my old transformations and redrawing them all one by one. Yep, there's Koopley in that last one all, "Son got turned into a hedgehog. Welp, here we go again."))

Of course! Mario's an amazing person, but he experiences emotions just like anybody else. But if I had to chose the one time he felt all of those the most by far, there's no two ways about it: that was the moment we had our fateful encounter with...her.

I never saw Mario so angry or horrified as when that terrible demoness possessed the very princess he dedicated his life to protecting. When we had to fight this monster in Her Highness's body. He seemed so hopeless for a moment there, what with Princess Peach under the influence of such a mighty force of evil and him literally powerless to do anything about it.

And yet...despite his fear and despair, he refused to give up. He buckled down and kept the fight up... So that's what we did too.

((The this is only a fraction of the illustrations that would've gone with this, but I decided to stop here to keep myself from going over the deep end; this much is sufficient enough. The whole concept of this response was mostly inspired by a big ask response my friend Nutty drew in for her Ask Mario blog regarding what Mario fears. If you ask me, I rather like how my Shadow Peach turned out for my first time drawing her; Mario, it looks like I hardly tried with him.))

do they sell custom shells? like skulls? and can they fit on humans?

Errr... [ignores the skulls part]

Sure, shells come in all shapes in sizes, just like the clothes you humans buy in clothing departments, and they can be custom made for the potential wearer.

Stores sell ones they call "courage shells" for tourists and other people interested in the koopa lifestyle. But Mario made some somewhat effective use of them as armor during our adventure.
