Can I request some pining head canons for Dimitri, Claude and Sylvain? Thank you 💕
Dimitri - Oh, man. This poor, sweet boy. Goddess, help him the moment he sets his eyes on you. He will absolutely try to deny his feelings at first, unable to accept them on his end. But, his pining will come out subtly. He'll congratulate you with heartfelt compliments whenever you do something amazing.
"Dimitri, all I did was answer the question correctly."
"Yes, but you did it with such eloquence. I'm truly impressed."
Whenever he finds himself staring for too long, his face will flush in embarrassment, but he's already memorized the way your nose crinkles when you laugh or the way you bite your lip when you're anxious.
He'll suggest studying together, or sparring to get a chance to spend more time with you, but of course, make it seem casual.
Sylvain would be the first to notice the way he stares at you, and he would be the one to give Dimitri that extra push. Still, it would take some time for Dimitri to build up that courage. He doesn't think he's good enough for you, but he also doesn't think anyone else is. In fact, he's snapped a few lances here and there while watching someone who absolutely doesn't deserve you try and ask you out.
So, Dimitri would FINALLY ask you out on a date after months of tension between the two of you. The right kind of tension, of course. He would beg the Goddess for you to return his feelings, and continue to believe he would never be good enough.
Claude - Yup, he absolutely has to have you. Claude knows what he wants and always gets what he wants. But, that man also has a tremendous amount of patience, so he won't start off too overbearing. The moment your eyes meet, however, he quickly introduces himself and asks for your name.
Then, somehow, Claude always ends up where you are. He starts off with a compliment, as usual.
"Looking radiant as ever, I see."
"Your smile is brighter than the sun!"
"Claude, I'm not smiling."
"I know, but you should be. This stuffy room could use a little sunshine in it."
And you'd smile at his smart ass, earning a signature wink. He'd become slightly possessive but in a crafty way; always claiming you as his partner for things, approaching you to be his dance partner or his sparring partner, asking you to help him with his classwork (he's smart enough to do it, he just likes watching you work your brilliant mind). He would touch your shoulder whenever he got the chance, but only in a 'friendly' way.
Claude would buy you flowers. Actually, he'd shower you in a lot of gifts, and in return, ask you for your time. Hilda would subsequently call his puppy love "gross."
Sylvain - At first, he'd be flirting with you like every other person before you. But, he would soon realize you're different. That would interest him, and he'd be dying to get to know you more. He would often ask you to dine with him, or to go for walks down at the market, or to help him study.
Sylvain doesn't know how to be genuine, but he knows he wants to be for the first time in his life. He would be handsy because that's all he knows. When all of Sylvain's tactics fail, he'd ask around the Blue Lions for advice because that boy would become desperate fast. Surprisingly, Dedue would be the one to give him sound advice, and he would approach you later that day with handpicked flowers.
He would be a babbling mess, and throw the flowers in your face, and then run off, but hey, at least he tried. Then, of course, he would apologize and ask for forgiveness. He'd also ask for a real chance and would spend all his time and effort into proving to you that you're the only one for him.
