while im draft clearing anyway i drew this after making this post abt a sumitaba roleswap au. brainstormed about it really hard and then didn't post it because it full of incoherent rambling.

aforementioned two year old incoherent rambling + a version of the above w/o the text under the cut

so like they are at the same class at shujin but sumire has been absent the whole year, and when futaba heard about what happened to kasumi, her stomach sinks because, well, she doesn't know why but the thought of watching a loved one getting hit by a car and blaming yourself for it feels Really Bad to her for some reason. she gets a real bee in her bonnet about wanting to help her feel better. she approaches the PTs as alibaba in the same way she does in canon except about sumi instead of herself. she's only ever met her briefly when dropping schoolwork at her house.

uhh keywords. sumire yoshizawa + yoshizawa residence + memorial. im bad at interior design & conceptualising locations but im picturing like.... lots of tall, barren hallways with floor-to-ceilling funeral pictures of kasumi. EVERYTHING is a dedication to kasumi. there's a gallery of kasumi's childhood milestones where sumire is conveniently out of frame or scratched out. there's a display room with all of kasumi's awards next to tvs displaying the routine she used to win them (and there's a dusty closet at the back of the room with rusted, dented and broken second place medals). sumire's shadow acts like a tour guide and introduces herself as kasumi, occasionally showing up to give commentary, but whenever her identity is asserted by the PTs she dissipates into fog. end boss is a giant kasumi a la futabas palace.

Remembering the victims of Ramot’s car ramming attack

A year ago, on February 10, 2023, three Israelis were murdered and four more were injured when a terrorist rammed his car into a bus stop in Ramot, Jerusalem.

The victims were brothers Ya'akov Yisrael Paley (6 years old), Asher Menachem Paley (8 years old), and Rabbi Alter Shlomo Lederman (20 years old).

May their memories forever be a blessing.
