As a lifelong fiction writer, I am most drawn to visual storytelling and the narrative quality of a photograph. 💫 But if you are new to photography, tablescapes and heavily propped stories are difficult. I tell my students that until you learn your light and camera, to start with minimalism and focus on the inherent beauty in food. 💫 Grab some cabbage or kale and focus on the intricacy of the leaves.
