Indulge in a delightful breakfast with this Slow Cooker French Toast Casserole. It's easy to make and perfect for feeding a crowd or prepping ahead for busy mornings. The slow cooker ensures a moist and flavorful dish that's sure to become a family favorite.
Ingredients: 1 loaf French bread, cut into cubes. 6 large eggs. 2 cups milk. 1/2 cup heavy cream. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 tablespoon vanilla extract. 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 cup chopped pecans optional. 1/2 cup maple syrup, for serving.
Instructions: In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Place half of the bread cubes in the bottom of a greased slow cooker. Pour half of the egg mixture over the bread cubes. Add half of the chopped pecans if using. Layer the remaining bread cubes on top. Pour the remaining egg mixture over the bread cubes. Sprinkle the remaining chopped pecans on top. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or until set and cooked through. Serve warm with maple syrup.

Fresh fruits such as grapes, figs, and apple slices. Assorted crackers and breadsticks. Olives and pickles. Nuts such as almonds and cashews. Honey and mustard for dipping. Fresh herbs for garnish.
Instructions: Set up the wooden serving board as your base to begin. Fold the cured meats into pretty shapes and place them on the board. Place the different kinds of cheese around the meats, leaving room for other things. Spread out fresh fruits like apple slices, grapes, and figs evenly on the board. Fill in the empty spaces with different kinds of crackers and breadsticks. Put olives and pickles in smart places to create a salty contrast. Ingredients: 8 chicken drumsticks. 1/4 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tablespoons rice vinegar. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. 1 tablespoon Sriracha sauce. 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 2 tablespoons water. Sesame seeds, for garnish. Sliced green onions, for garnish.
Instructions: Preheat the oven to 400F 200C. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and Sriracha sauce. Bring to a simmer over medium heat and cook for 5 minutes. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry. Stir the slurry into the sauce and cook for another 2 minutes until thickened. Place chicken drumsticks in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the drumsticks with half of the sauce. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, brushing with the remaining sauce halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and the glaze is caramelized. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
