Reverse Image Search
Reverse image searching has become an unfortunate but necessary skill you must learn if you are interacting on the internet these days. If you don’t want to share or post photos of your real self, then don’t. That’s perfectly acceptable. Just please for goodness sake, be your real self and stop sharing and posting fake selfies you pulled off the internet. It embarrasses you and the recipients, especially if the recipient shared a real image of themselves. 🤦♀️

After this post about the frescoes in the triclinium at Pompeii crossed my dash today, I was bopping around the internet just reading about triclinia in general (as you do). And I started stumbling on images (both early and modern) and descriptions/diagrams of the Last Supper on triclinia or stibadia because OF FREAKING COURSE.
And suddenly, just like that, after all these decades of ignorance, the passage about John leaning on Jesus's chest finally makes perfect sense, because that's how you recline when you're eating triclinium-style, and it's not awkward like it would be if you were sitting up to table at a Protestant church social.
And that was My Daily Dose of Duh.
