Monte Cristo’s
Whaaaa? I guess Felicity doesn't keep Kosher?
I thought they had avoided things so it was only vaguely there but the Monte Cristo is just the cousin of one of those sayings that got stuck in my head forever ago: "That's as Kosher as a ham and cheese sandwich" (that would strike down the pork, and the meat and cheese no-no’s)
Finding Felicity
they are trembling checking batteries, stocking pantry shelves with bread and toilet tissue they are panicking glued to the weather channel, staring out the windows revving up the snow blowers I am smiling books and afghan at the ready finding felicity in a winter storm —– Just Jot It January 22nd -felicity

Olicity Question
When do you think Oliver realized he had feelings for Felicity?
This is My Sword
I’m a day behind. It happens. My youngest got sick, I got sick. Sick.
Anyway, so I read at least three reviews before I watched. I’m also impatient. As stated before, I love Felicity and Oliver, but that’s not why I like the episode.
First, Malcolm. Still don’t get him. I can only trust him as far as I can throw him and since I’m not a salmon ladder kind of girl, it’s not far.
Tatsu–how fraking badASS is she? And now, as Katana? I can’t wait to see more. The best part was the culmination of her and Maseo. Was he really under Ra’s all that time or just willing to follow another in order to not feel or think? Heartbreaking. Such wonderful performances.
Ray–still chipper. His ray of sunshine wasn’t annoying tonight. Maybe it’s because he and Felicity are done and I don’t need to gag all the time, but his character is rounding out. I’m starting to enjoy his development and sneaky, that one is.
Thea and Roy–they are so cute. Roy didn’t look as angsty tonight. Refreshing. Red always did look better on Thea.
Diggle–I know he had words with Oliver. He’s not done. He’s going to punch him. Heck, I would. Lyla probably will too.
Felicity–I’m reading so much hate right now. She is mourning a loss. It’s NOT like last season’s Laurel’s angry addiction crying. She’s lost a friend; her love. It makes people emotionally vulnerable. It’s been a rough season for her. She yelled at Barry for almost dying. She’s very specific about that. Lay off of her people. She knows when to suck it up and take care of business. Crying is not weakness.
Ras Al Queen or Green Al Ghul? Arrow Returns!
FInally...the long wait for the DC icon has come to an end! Arrow took to the airwaves last night after a month or so long hiatus. OK, it could have been one week off and I would be just as excited for the return.
Oliver has been given the “choice” of taking the mantle of the Demon’s Head from Ras Al Ghul, because he survived the sword wielded by the current leader of the League of Assassins. OK. You have my attention. Ollie’s too. In fact it seemed like he was going to take the gig, also if he didn’t Diggle and Merlyn were going to be killed, so there was little choice. BUT THE POWER! THE WOMEN! THE IMMORTALITY (kinda)! SO Oliver takes this offer, his crew, and goes home.
There in typical Oliver fashion he dodges the “how did this happen ?” questions, mainly because no one pressure him to answer this question and pushes the team to deal with the new meanie on the streets, Murmur. Also he sets Nyssa free.
Then in typical Arrow 90210 fashion, Detective, sorry...Captain Lance gives him the dad voice about his hiding the truth about Sarah and forcing the Arrow to see maybe Ra’s way is not the way to help his city. This choice is not really a choice we are told, but simply a delaying action. Ra’s will? Yeah it will be done.
Of course by the end of the episode you have Murmur captured, some Thea and Merlyn father/daughter time, Nyssa and Laurel hang out, Ray and Felicity are going strong, and Roy and Thea-oh yeah. Also Ra’s poses as the Arrow, murders some guys and tells another guy to “tell everyone” what he saw here.
Oh thank god! Can we please have some back to basics? Ollie murdering thugs was something I really enjoyed. I will take Ra’s doing it for now, but I am sure in due time Ollie will clear his name, blah blah blah... Those things aside, the episode was great, we are headed to an epic crossover conclusion and of course the show continues to produce the best fight scenes on television. Also, Stephen Amell still treats his fans better than anything I have ever seen.
So I have to wait until next Wednesday, or Thursday morning because I have HULU, to continue watching the Emerald Archer.
