5 Facts about Your OC
I was tagged by the ever wonderful @quizzikemen~ This looks like fun, so why not? xD Rules: Pick one character and give us five facts about them! The facts can be anything really - from trivial to super duper important. Then tag others for them to play too
5 Facts about Ariel Grace:
1) Ariel came from our world and knows the story line of all the games. She does her damnedest to not give more information than asked of her but sometimes she intervenes when she knows a stupid decision is being made. Because of her weird relationship with the Fade/magic in general she’s able to absorb/reflect magic but is immune to its effects. No fancy fighting spells or helpful domestic magic and also no healing benefits. Not great for her, considering she is often sick from the illness in Thedas because she has no immunity to them when she arrives.
2) She trusts animals more than people, so she can often be found taking care of stray cats or dogs; feeding the ravens/crows at Leliana’s rookery or spending time with the mounts in the stable. If she stops spending time with animals to spend time with you, it means that she likes you. She’s horrible at actually saying she cares, so her affections comes out in worry, gifts or assistance. It doesn’t help matters that she has “Resting Bitch Face” syndrome/TM.
3) The more comfortable/safe she feels, the more off the wall she’ll act. She’ll burst out in bits of song and dance a bit as she walks if she’s happy and feeling safe -- because, really, why not? If someone calls her out on it, however, she’s easily embarrassed so she’ll only do such things when she believes she’s alone.
4) She feels her best when she helps others feel better and often shares personal successes with others. For example, she made a synthetic version of Lyrium because she had used it as a kind of energy boost to keep her awake and out of the Fade -- then proceeded to share it with Cullen and any other Templar that wanted to be free of the addictive nature of the original substance while still getting a bit of relief from a placebo effect.
5) She doesn’t believe she is worthy of being loved and cannot take compliments to save her life. She’ll often deflect compliments entirely or just say that you need to heighten your standards if you think she’s attractive/if you like her. Once she accepts this, however, she will dote intensely on her partner and want to be near them whenever possible. I honestly don’t know if any of my followers have OC’s (aside from quizzy herself and @vilemie but I know she’s been tagged before and might be running out of OC’s. xD So...
