Feminist: "Are you literally comparing feminism to the Nazi movement? Omg. That' racist as hell. It’s also antisemitic.

Equating feminists to the nzi regime or hitler or the Third Reich is demeaning not to the people you’re trying to insult, but to the people who suffered under their regime.

You do not get to tell a feminist that them standing up for their rights -even if they hurt your feelings by pointing out you have privilege- is even remotely equatable to the nazi’s who forced members of my family to dig their own graves.

You do not get to tell a feminist that pointing out that we live in a patriarchal society that damages everyone is even remotely comparable to the monster who gave the order that killed six million people.

You do not get to tell me I am ‘just as bad as’ the people who forced my family members into gas chambers. You do not get to compare me to the nazi’s who shot my family members because they were too sick to work. You do not get to compare me to the nazi’s who tortured and murdered an entire branch of my family tree.

You do not get to do that. You do not have the right to do that. Ever. You do not get to compare feminism which is fighting for liberation and equality to an oppressive regime that was bent on the total destruction through genocide of people of colour, the Jewish people and LGBT people.

You do not get to do it. You are automatically racist the moment you say feminism reminds you of the Third Reich, you are racist the moment you say ‘femnazi’ and you are racist the moment you call someone fighting for their right to exist safely and for the same opportunities you have to Hitler.

Feminism and Nazism are completely different. You do not get to compare them and you do not get to tell me or any other feminist that they are the same and you do not get to use that word.

You degrade and detract from the very real suffering that people who suffered through the Holocaust had to deal with. You erase their suffering, their pain, their murders. You equate the torture and murder of over six million people to your hurt feelings and that makes you racist. And a child.

It only shows that you know nothing about feminism OR the Holocaust when you do it. It makes you a disgusting person. It insults every Holocaust survivor and victim. And it makes you racist, antisemitic, homophobic and sexist with a single word."
