so im a total slut for broca pregnancy fics. pls could you tell us a little about your wip of this nature?

For a moment I was like ‘how did you know there’s a pregnancy in this fic?!’ but I checked and realized I’d altered the working title to include it, hehe.
So, here’s the fic idea:
It’s an alternate take on what occurs in The Broca Divide ep, but also has a few other differences. The fic is still set in the stargate ‘verse, though. The opening scene is set shortly after the locker room ‘incident’, where Sam is in the infirmary after Jack attacked her. See, there’s a little role reversal here and he attacked her and, sadly, raped her.
Jack, being the good guy we know he is, feels incredibly guilty about what happened even though he logically knows he wasn’t in control of his actions. But she’s his 2IC and while not really friends yet (the Broca ep happens like a month into the formation of SG-1), he likes and respects her as a person and potential friend - plus, he’s her CO and she should be able to trust him to not harm her. He’s worried though that his physical attraction to her factored into his caveman self seeking her out and thus blames himself.
Captain-Doctor Samantha Carter is being very rational about it all and tries to separate Colonel O’Neill from Caveman!Jack - her CO is someone she respects and admires (little hero worship and “mild” case of attraction thrown into the mix) and would never harm her, except for this mind-and-body-altering alien virus that turned him into a caveman. So, really, she doesn’t blame him... except there’s a tension between them and neither of them can help it, she flinches when he gets too close, they have a hard time being in the same room together (especially alone) and basically can’t function on the same team.
And oh yeah, Sam got pregnant.
Hammond has sent them to counseling (and there’ll probably be quite some focus on therapy) by the time she finds out and SG-1 is basically on stand down, because he doesn’t want to “punish” Sam by reassigning when she’s the victim. And she keeps insisting she can still work with Jack and while Jack himself isn’t as certain about that as she is, he already feels conflicted enough about what he did to her that he doesn’t want to kick her off his team if she wants to stay. So, things aren’t going great.
Oh and did I mention that in this fic Jack and Sara were attempting to reconcile and get back together around the time of the mission to the Land of Light? So, he’s also navigating rekindling a relationship with his ‘estranged’ wife.
Sam knows he’s trying to work things out with Sara and doesn’t want to cause trouble between them, but also just found out she’s pregnant. She’s torn about what to do: she finally has her dream job and circumstances aren’t ideal to say the least so she’s inclined to abort the pregnancy but at the same time she’s also aware there’s a good chance she’ll get booted from the Program (or at least an off-world team) if she and Jack can’t work together and she loves kids...
Big dilemma!
And at this point, she doesn’t know anything about what happened to Charlie yet. Jack does tell her after he learns about the pregnancy but that only makes it harder for her to decide what to do.
That’s pretty much where I left off plotting. I know where I want to go with the story (Sam/Jack, d’oh) but have always had trouble figuring out how to get them there without it being creepy considering the rape. I created the notebook for this fic in 2014 and have talked it through with @amaradangeli in 2017, but never managed to get beyond the “they eventually get together’ and wasn’t comfortable with just writing and seeing where I’d end up because of the precarious situation. In the past few years I have added some minor thoughts here and there, mostly in relation to therapy and ideas about how they can work on their working relationship, but nothing major.
