Month SEVEN of the year!!! It has bee so great to see all the responses for the challenge so far, and I'm so proud of everyone who's even attempted to participate. You're all great! Come join us yet again for a monthly challenge of fun femslash fic and art :)

PROMPT: WISH UPON A STAR

How it works:

Minimum 1k fic/writing OR 1 piece of art (which could be either a drawing, podfic, graphic or fanmix) based on the prompt

Post completed works during the month anytime before midnight August 31st according to your time zone.

The round up post will be posted about a week later on September 7th.

All Fandoms AND original works allowed, just so long as the main ship is femslash - see FAQ below or send an ask if you need anything clarified :)

And we’re here for the fifth challenge of the year (ha. that rhymed). 

How it works:

write 1k of fic OR create 1 piece of art

you can also do a rollover challenge using a prompt or fic (if you’re making art) from the previous month

must be based on the prompt given

must be femslash

due by the end of the month (but can be posted at any time)

Submitting it:

add it to the AO3 collection with the tag ‘Femslash Big Bang Monthly Challenge’

And we’re  back again for 2017! The femslash big bang is in its FOURTH year of running, which is super exciting. 

Important Info:

Write 5k of fic OR 2 pieces of art for the yearly challenge

Femslash works only - that’s the whole point of the challenge

Check ins on the 20th of every month from February

Author and artist won’t be paired this year - both are separate ‘streams’ of the challenge so you can sign up for both if you really want

mod K note: The monthly masterlist for June will probably go up somewhere around the 4/5th of this month because mod K is a Yank and has Patriotic Plans for the holiday weekend is taking advantage of her country's holiday spirit to play and will be generally unavailable. Consider it a grace period to put a few finishing touches on some things if you'd like!
