We learn that the cult of Feronia existed in Praeneste from Virgil's Aeneid (VIII 563-565), where Feronia plays the role of the mother of the monster Erulus, the Praenestine king who fought against Evander. She belongs to the circle of "terrible" deities, whose creations inspire horror (it is not for nothing that Virgil, describing the son of Feronia, says 'horrendum dictu'). It can be compared, for example, with the Greek Echidna. This indicates the deepest antiquity of this cult. The fact that Feronia gave birth to the Prenestine king indicates that her image was included in local Prenestine traditions. Dionysius of Halicarnassus (III 32,1) writes that the name of Feronia is translated into Greek as Anthophora (Flower-bearing), then as Philostephania (Loving wreaths), then as Fersephone. The translation of the meaning of her name indicates the connection of this goddess with the plant world. Perhaps she was considered the patroness of flowers. It should be mentioned that the oldest settlement of the Mycenaean Greeks on the territory of Praeneste was called Polistephane, i.e. multi-wreaths (Strab. C. 238), or Stephane (Plin. Nat. hist. III 64). The Greek writer Aristocles tells us that Praeneste was founded by Telegonus where peasants danced in wreaths (Plut. Parall. 41). Pliny the Elder (XXI 14;16) mentions the famous Praenestine roses, which were used to make wreaths. Thus, in Praeneste, which has been famous for its roses and wreaths since ancient times, Feronia was probably supposed to be revered as the mistress of flowers. The identification of Feronia by Greek authors with Persephone, who was a very ancient Chthonic deity associated with the Eleusinian mysteries, indicates that Feronia was also a Chthonic goddess, somehow related to the underworld, inspiring awe. The image of the Praenestine Feronia, the mother of the monster Erulus, an image that undoubtedly dates back to the most ancient, half-forgotten by the time of Virgil (it is not for nothing that he is a 'doctus poeta') local legends, fits very well into the context of identifying Feronia with Persephone. Thus, Feronia is an ancient Italian Chthonic deity. She was revered in many places in Italy, in particular in Praeneste, where she was considered the mistress of flowers and wildness, associated with the underworld.

Today I want to show you a couple of concepts for the gods of Golarion, because I'm in the mood for some stylization practice.
1/? Zon-Kuthon
2/? Feronia (Ragathiel's mother)
Considering that in Pliny's Natural History he describes that any towers built near Feronia's shrine were struck down by lightning I consider her capable of throwing lightning like other powerful aiser.

"The Love Duel"
~~~
The relationship between Prince Xilas and Princess Narisa doesn't start pretty. Both have different goals in life and they both belong to different royal houses. Xilas is especially furious at Narisa, because being captured by her beauty hinders his political plans. He has a different marriage in mind, which could be beneficial for his family, but the love he starts to feel towards Narisa is luring him to a different path. Xilas is angry at Narisa first and tries to humiliate her to silence his heart, and it leads to a duel for first blood between them during a party.
Here's Kalon, Feronia's brother! And him inserted into the family pic (now with everything to scale!)
