Oh friend. I don't have a fix - I just wish I could give you a hug. You are a good. And no one person is responsible for how things turn out. Especially not a KID. You are a VERY GOOD. And I'm sorry you're going through this

Im so sorry to hear that :( I was in a similar position about a year ago. Perhaps you should figure out what he wants from you/ your company, and then decide where to go from there.
Oh man, I’m sorry you had to something similar. I hope you’re in a better situation these days! Unfortunately my family doesn’t even come close to communicating about emotional stuff, so it’d just feel incredibly uncomfortable to try to ask, and my dad would probably get pissy about it. I think I’m doing as much as I can. (I hope I don’t sound like I’m shooting you down - normally I’m all for open communication! But I don’t know that I can introduce a culture of communication to my parents at this point, you know?)
