if you don’t mind me asking, if you were in mistborn (either era), what powers would you want? feruchemist, allomancer, twinborn with/without compounding, hemalurgy, etc?
That's a super fun question!! I think I'd like to be an archivist (a copper ferring). Feruchemy is one of my favourite manifestation of investiture in the cosmere because sazed is one of my favourite characters in era 1. The keepers from Terris were one of the most interesting groups of the Final Empire, because their own kind of rebellion against the Lord Ruler was based on remembering the cultures that were present in scadrial before Rashek's ascension rather that actively killing nobles like Kelsier did. Their purpose was to not let people forget, and I think that's a really powerful way to challenge a corrupted government. Since then, the idea of copperminds really stuck to me. I really like the idea of storing any kind of information I want, since I love learning and I'm always trying to know more about my special interests. Having all of that knowledge stored in jewellery that I can wear everywhere and being able to accsess it whenever I want to just seems so cool!
Gotta make sure Sazed stays my most drawn mistborn character

Oooo that's an excellent question thanks much for asking!
I've always particularly loved the feruchemists' power. Something in me has always craved to store my excesses for times of need. My extra wakefulness, my extra speed, my extra mental acuity, YES to all of it!
If I could be a full Keeper, I would be so so happy.
I know I haven't fully considered all the implications of various twinborn combos and compounding abilities but seriously. Let me make banks of physical and mental (and spiritual?? we don't know much about powers like Fortune) resources for myself for times of stress and trial, saved from times of rest and plenty.
Sazed
I like Sazed. Next to Vin, he is probably my favorite character of the first Mistborn trilogy... at least so far in my reread... ---------------------------
[image description: Digital painting of Sazed in his Terris Steward robes. He has overall elongated features with light, tan skin, a shaved head and a more strongly developed epicanthic folds. His hears are rimmed with various earrings, piercings and studs, his lobes slightly elongated to hold more jewellery. There is also a small metal stud in one of his nasal wings. His robes are made out of complicated arrangement of triangular cut cloth in orange and purple, which also is patterned with triangular shapes. The fingers on his hand are all adorned with rings made from various metals. He looks slightly upwards with a serene but discerning expression, a light smile in the corner of his mouth.]
Does anybody else get real jumpy about spotting world hoppers in the cosmere? Like when a character is described as having a strange accent, you think, 'hmm, world hopper' but also when a character is wearing a hat you think, 'Wayne?!?!'
Someone wearing metal rings -- feruchemist?
Someone with long limbs -- Terrisman?
Someone with a musical instrument -- Hoid?
Someone uses colors -- Hallendren?
There's grey stuff -- Awakener?
Someone's very grumpy -- Vasher? (I mean, he can change his appearance, so his extraordinary grumpiness is the only constant to identify him by.)
My friend’s D&D character, Squall. He is a Water Gensai Storm Cleric.
Day 8 of drawvember: my favorite character from Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn series, Sazed! 😍
