Ingredients: 2 cups rolled oats. 1 cup peanut butter. 1/2 cup honey. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup chopped dried cranberries. 1/2 cup chopped green pistachios. 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips. Green food coloring optional. Assorted edible decorations candy stars, sprinkles, etc..
Instructions: Put rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, and vanilla extract in a large bowl. Mix the ingredients together well until they are well mixed. Dried cranberries, green pistachios, and mini chocolate chips should all be chopped up and mixed in. You can make it a bright green color by adding a few drops of green food coloring. Put the mixture in the fridge for about 30 minutes to make it a little firmer. This will make it easier to work with. Take a small amount of the mixture and shape it into a cone. This will be the base of the Christmas tree. Do this step again to add more layers to the tree, making each one a little smaller than the last. Add different edible decorations to the tree layers, like candy stars and sprinkles. Gently press the decorations into the mixture to keep them in place. To make the tree trunk, put a pretzel stick or a small piece of candy cane into the bottom of the tree. After the cookies are done, put them back in the fridge for another 30 minutes to let them set completely. Your No Bake Christmas Tree Cookies are ready to eat once they have set. As holiday treats, serve them this season.
