what's your opinion on fujoshi?

I hate fujoshi and want them absolutely no where near me. The attitudes fujoshi have are homophobic on numerous levels - the infantilization, fetishization, and spectacle-making of gay men (or people they Want to be gay men) and their sexual/romantic relationships by (primarily cis) women is horrible and repulsive. I've had contact with fujoshi before and they make me feel so gross and dehumanized as a gay trans man.

Something that annoys me especially about fujoshi is that they'll oftentimes cry misogyny when you criticize them, and they need to be held responsible for their behavior. Bit of a side note, but I've also been told I'm a fujoshi by trans exclusionists (t*rfs, "tehms", LGB-drop-the-T) and god fuck I hate that.

That said, I have acknowledged before that some unrecognized gay/trans people may fall into the fujoshi crowd and those people definitely... need some help getting out. Especially minors. However they are still responsible for any homophobia they have expressed, as homophobia is still harmful, whether you're gay or not.
