Basically, MSF has been operating at max capacity for weeks now, asking for outside help. The US recently declined to do that (we did offer about $ 200 million in aid money, but WHO says at least 3 times that is needed to stop the outbreak.
And almost more than money, what is needed right now is leadership to coordinate efforts across the 6 affected countries.
