Again, look at Tifa's facial expression. She wasnt excited anymore and became even more depressed. Notice that sudden inhale, chest expand with a frown lips from her?

And again. Watch closely, Tifa was about to cry here but she quickly talked about newspaper and acting as if it was nothing to her

CLOUD, PLEASE LOOK BEHIND YOU, YOU DORK. When talking about some life changing matter, it is important to look at your lover listener face

Cant you see she was hurting there??

Clearly here, Tifa tried to stay 'naturally cheerful and calm'. She didnt want to break Cloud's motivation, neither to talk about her feelings. And LOL, this was how Cloud respond to Tifa who had her emotions concealed - he was shocked. Probably he didnt get the reply like how he thought he would receive from her. He wanted to be notice by Tifa, but he saw Tifa looked happy there

I TOLD YOU TO LOOK BEHIND YOU! DONT TELL ME YOU'RE SHOCKED WITH HER ANSWERS

No, actually the two of them didnt understand each others words behind those facial expressions, body languages and voice tones.

Tifa thought Cloud really wanted to become a soldier and leave their hometown to pursue his dream, when the actual truth was, Cloud wanted Tifa to notice him.

And Cloud never realised that Tifa had long noticed him and cared for him since their early childhood memories. He, ofc, didnt see how Tifa's face changed when he was talking about moving to Midgar and wont be back for a long time

And later..

It seemed like Tifa had a sudden idea to ensure she could keep in touch with Cloud. I dont think anyone would easily like to make a promise like this if they dont have any feelings towards the other person.

Thus, they made a vow under the stars

And Cloud -

Wth cloud? Looking at her hair wont tell much about she actually feels on the inside, kay.

You have to look at her face! She was about to cry again there!!!

I seriously love how these characters were still able to convey messages through their body languages. Eventhough Cloud was a dork for unable to notice her, but the audience still could understand Tifa's feelings, perhaps..

I got inspired from this post, And sooo, i decided to take a proper look at this scene.

I noticed a fewwwww unspoken words behind Tifa's body language, so i'mma share em with u guys

If im not mistaken, around this age, Cloud was forbid to meet with Tifa. And because of that, Cloud had some anger prob, and easily got into a fight with anyone. can u imagine this boy got into a fight?

l've just learned that Cloud was used to be a crybaby, shy and a sensitive boy. Well, the grown up real Cloud is still a sensitive man.

It looked here, Cloud was kind of.. Nervous? Idk, just my assumption. He was about to meet with his crush though

Later Tifa came, with her sweet cheerful manner

Okay, that wasnt the case. Here's the real deal

Notice how Tifa's face changed there? She looked surprised -

And unhappy. She frowned there, quickly look away from Cloud

And here, Tifa was about to burst in tears. She didnt let out her voice, not even a sigh, so Cloud didnt notice her facial expression

CLOUD, PLEASE LOOK BEHIND YOU!! Look behind you before this Lockhart's daughter conceal her emotions

oh, too late. She already did

Pretty sure Tifa wasnt sad because all of their friends were leaving the village. She tried to understand Cloud's reason to leave their hometown

But Cloud -

Cloud who wanted to be notice by her, told her that he wasnt like the other 'immature kids'. LOL, he even stuttered there. A sign of he was a shy boy 😂

Tifa please.. Cant you see Cloud is trying hard to make you notice him? NOTICE HIM, TIFA-SENPAI

Watch closely his legs. When Tifa mentioned about being a SOLDIER was hard, Cloud pulled his thigh closer. Another sign he was a shy, insecure boy😂

Oh god, that was adorable. He's the main character of the game guys

PART 1

Zack Fair is Cloud most important person. I'm not saying Tifa or Aerith is not important, but Zack is on another level. He's the type of friend you could found one in a million people

Remember the time when he first met with Cloud?

Cloud laughed and smiled a lot when he was with Zack. Like probably the only time we could see Cloud smiling and laughing was when he was with ZACK only.

"ME? GONGAGA" "YOU KNOW GONGAGA"

From a simple back watername joke, they easily became friends. Zack was really humble, he didnt mind to be friend with a timid infantryman although he was a 1st Class SOLDIER

Zack was also Cloud's main self esteem. We all know and agree how 'fragile' this blondie was, but Zack was really sweet, he believed in Cloud even when Cloud himself couldnt do it

This 1st Class SOLDIER cared for a normal infantryman. He had lots of other things/battles to do, but here we see he was there with Cloud

Zack was like "There is no way I could leave my friend alone"

Random Appreciation Post; Marlene runs from Cloud

Marlene - "Daddy says not to talk to strangers"

I thought Marlene was Barret's biological daughter. It turned out, she was the daughter of Barret's friend. But the way Barret talked and cared for her was soo real and sincere, like he was really Marlene's father

No wonder in Advent Children, Marlene stayed together with Cloud Tifa and Denzel, and not with Barret. But Barret probably stayed there too, sometimes maybe..

LOL Marlene. You are one lucky girl. Your father is a man with a giant arm gun, your aunt is a combat martial artist, your uncle is hero with giant swords, and you have close contact with a vampire, a ninja woman, an airplane captain and a red rat dog !!

Girl, you're going to become a super awesome queen ya know. Take those opportunity to gain skills from them

After the Avalanche team destroyed the Mako reactor, Cloud and Barret rushed to the elevator,

Inside the elevator, Barret took a glance at Cloud who was, well, being cool

Barret then looked at his hand, and his hand was.. Shaking? There was no inner monologue in this game, so we couldnt know what Barret was thinking there.

Was he afraid of the explosion? Was he scared to die there? Was he overthinking about the complication from the explosion? Was he debating with himself he was doing the right thing?

Well I guess that is something we will never know..
