Wow. I do have to apologise first though cuz I actually took another hiatus from writing and drawing the DCAs but I'm honestly so grateful and happy that y'all gave my fic a chance and gave comments / kudos for it.

It started off as a silly little thing but then it got so much deeper and I'm like ngl proud of what I was able to achieve. I was also able to make friends and share a piece of my inner world with them and y'all readers.

In truth, Fear Factor would not have happened without y'all's support and I'm so, so thankful. Thank you for reading it and sharing your thoughts on it too. I literally screenshot yalls comments and save it in a special folder hehe~

Chapter 18 : Autumn (Arc 2)

Summary : "Good things come to those who wait" was an understatement but the Star has a long and arduous path ahead of her. A certain gator lends a hesitant hand and she finds that there are still many things to contemplate - Was it love, friendship or something beyond those? So many questions, too few answers but time passes and the Eclipse shadows her once more.

Usual tw : existential crises, painfully awkward confessions, poly-curiousity … will update more later if I see anything else!

Had writers block again but I pushed through by writing mini sentences and piecing stuff together last minute. It's also not my usual style of writing but I didn't wanna constrict myself too much since this is just a fun project.

Hi there, thanks for the opportunity to yap about my AU :)

Btw, I had to rewrite this cuz I accidentally pressed the back button on mobile and it erased all my words 😭😭😭😭

Anyways!

Fear Factor is about a person who has a phobia of mascots / animatronics and works at Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaplex as the newly appointed security guard.

The fic explores the phobia of mascots / animatronics, friendship / relationship issues, past trauma, various health issues (mostly anxiety) and found family.

It's also written based on real life events (some are fictional but I won't disclose which) / a way to acknowledge my experience and put them to rest.

It's also my everything fic 🩷

There's also the fact that this fic plays on the themes of temperature, whereby it's showcased through seasons going backwards. There will be 4 arcs altogether - Winter, Autumn, Summer and Spring. The closer we are to warmer temperatures, the closer we are to the people we care about or at least in this case, the animatronics ^^

But also, I'm a bit confused by what you mean... Do you mind sending me another ask to explain specifically? Like did you mean this in the way that if Y/N moved places a lot when they grew up / worked in various jobs or do you mean worked in other FNAF locations?

Cuz if it's the fnaf locations context, Y/N would just straight up say nope and try finding another place to work at haha - Y/N's not a fan of horror attractions and it'd be way too overwhelming even if it's just to get by and stuff - Plus, the scared of animatronics / mascots thing XD

Update : Hi again everyone!

- so with a full recovery in tow, the break has subtly drowned into a super relaxation mode that has made my hands lax and inevitably unable to draw again which means no posts for this month as well since I gotta practice and remember how to do this and that 😞 but then again this is just one of those times whereby I have to lay low before I can properly get back into the flow once more. Hopefully it won't take too long to get back but if not, I'm afraid no promises can be made.

I also wanted to confess that I have sorta phased out of the FNAF DCA era and have no ongoing interests to keep me in the state of mind to draw. This doesn't mean I hate it now, it's just the hyperfixation has used up all of my attention span and doesn't have anything to attach itself unto... Which is a mega pity since I had a lotta fanart that I wanted to do but then didn't have motivation and the right headspace to do so. In any case, I'll still try my best to finish up art trades and whatnot but um. Yeah. That's all I gotta say on that. I'm truly sorry about all this and thanks for supporting me throughout the years while I was still active in the fandom 🩷

P/S : Fear Factor and my other AUs will be put on hold since I do plan to finish it at some point but yeah, like I said no hyperfixation? no dice so I won't force the inspo if isn't the time for it... Oh and I'd also like to take the time to invest in my OCs so if y'all are interested in that, y'all can follow my Insta for it :]
