we got to see the Vikki and Vance (Bonnie and Clyde) car at the Primm casino across from Buffalo Bills then spent the afternoon at Goodsprings before it flooded due to the pouring rain 😔👍 Still had fun, we got to bet on rad roach races!

Sometimes the superheroes of the New Squidbeak Splatoon decide to do something normal for once and grab a nice bite to eat while shopping, and sometimes that normal experience immediately turns into a car chase.
This is one of those times. ~~~ didn't get a chance to post this yesterday before feburary ended, but here's a ficlet i wrote for the feburary ficlet challenge 2025! i finished it way late, but it was for day 1's prompts "buckle up" and "survive". naturally, i decided to write a superhero car chase!
this is a bit of a teaser for a full splatoon superhero au i'm considering writing. i probably won't ever get around to it, but writing this ficlet was fun, at least!
