FF14stuck or sth ig

John zooms right through the character creator and ends up with the default male hyur lancer named Cameron Poe (he probably switches to marauder)

Jake spends HOURS on the character creator and...ends up with the default male hyur with like maybe one slight difference from John's character (starts out with pugilist, switches to machinist)

Dave mains a lalafell paladin bc it's fuckin funny (he DPSs as a ninja bc he couldn't NOT do the rogue quests once he learned the job trainer's name is Jacke Swallow)

Jade is very put out that there's no playable dog people, but she settles for a hrothgar (mains pictomancer)

Rose mains an elezen black mage

Dirk has a bunch of alts on his main account that he switches around to on a fairly regular basis; he also has bot accounts that Hal runs to gather resources and shit to funnel to his main account and their FC (he's also managed to mod his game and has all his characters min-maxed to the like 0.001% or sth)

Jane somehow managed to cap culinarian before any combat job

Roxy mains dancer on either a miqo'te or a viera (tho she's also kitted out for machinist, ninja, and summoner)

Sollux and Aradia run a theorycrafting site that updates within like 48 hours of patch drops

Aradia mains an au ra reaper; Sollux mains an au ra red mage (or maybe a miqo'te? not sure)

Tavros and Nepeta run a G'raha Tia fanpage

Tavros mains an au ra bard (off-specs astrologian when the group needs heals); he's also got blue mage capped and is excited for beastmaster

Nepeta has both a max-height male hrothgar and a min-height female miqo'te - they're both kitted out the exact same (likely monk, maybe with off-spec viper), she just switches depending on whether she feels like being BIG KITTY or lil kitty at the moment

Equius tried to avoid getting sucked into the game, but he lost the fight once Nepeta showed him the roegadyn; he starts out with archer, but he dislikes bard, so he switches to paladin

Eridan is the last to join them; he kept calling it "a grub game for wigglers" but since everybody else was playing, he eventually gave in, griping about it the whole time (he mains an elezen, probably summoner?)

Terezi and Vriska both have a BUNCH of alts; they each have one in the main group's FC, but the rest are in their own FC named Scourge Sisters

Karkat has like all the DPS jobs leveled to some degree, but he's actually like stupid-good at healing so he ends up maining either sage or white mage (in order to keep up a steady tirade in the chat while maintaining his rotation, Sollux hooked him up with a speech-to-text mod)

Kanaya ostensibly plays an elezen gunbreaker, but honestly she's mostly there for the glamours and gpose suite

Feferi doesn't really have a "main" per se, mostly she's just there to collect minions (tho when beastmaster comes out, she's gonna be SO ON that shit)

Gamzee somehow has one character with all the jobs maxed; everyone thinks he bought the account but it turns out he actually does know what he's doing no matter which job he's on...so long as he's high (they also think he's only good at playing when he's high bc when he's on the downswing, he gets worse, but it turns out that when he's actually stone-cold sober, he's a fucking beast (Karkat found this out when he ran frontlines with Gamzee during a week Gamzee was having a tiff with his dealer or sth, and Gamzee just fuckin wrecked the other team almost single-handedly; nobody else believes him))

partner and I were shooting the shit about this and I felt like sharing. I'd love to hear y'all's takes/agreements/arguments/whatever on any of it xD
