Commission for @auniverseforgotten who wanted the Irish lads uwu
Every time I see what they did to Fionn Mac Cumhail in Fate, I get sad because mans just really loved his good buddy, who definitely wasn't anything else... totally. Like in the few Celtic myths we have he's just a sweet guy and he completely forgave Diarmuid because he knew it wasn't his fault and he never really got over his death.
A special shout out to 3 very helpful people @fate-inspiration @gravesecret for helping me out where i was stuck and of course you know what this sketch is about @sincerelymissatomicbomb
Master Arturia AU
Saber Diarmuid vs Lancer Fionn in a holy grail war with Arturia as Diarmuid’s Master
Fionn just came home (off banner so I'm kinda mad), but still happy I got him, pretty man 😳💖 My guinea pig for testing out new brushes and coloring/shading also!
My piece for Lancer Zine (@fateverse-exchange) This was fun!!
after the old spider event, there's something on my mind
i know having a very old relic related to the servant (ex. something belonging to the hero) you want to summon is kinda a necessary thing in a typical holy grail war but like... couldn't you make your own representation? mythology has been making symbols of the gods for years (athena and owls, anubis and jackals) maybe the success rate would be lower, but what is there to lose especially if you don't have the money??
tldr, making your own catalyst of or summoning with something more abstract, like a location, etc
charming your way into the galleria dell'academia di firenze to use the statue of david. doing the summoning ritual on slievenamon. or better -
imagine not having a catalyst going fuck it, i'll try any way and you accidentally summon iskandar because your tangled earbuds fell out of your pocket and it was considered a good enough gordian knot.
