Updates!

Hey guys, as we haven’t been active and updating you for quite some time we would like to catch up and give you a little bit more insight on what the project is actually about and introduce the people who are working on it.

Here is our team with all of our seven team members and the two supervisors.

Dorian --- Product designer and engineer

Polina --- 3D & animation artist and tumblr author

Sonja --- MoGraph specialist and 3D modeller and animator 

Laura --- Graphic and product designer

Christoph --- Our (younger) main supervisor and support

In the following days and weeks we are going to give you a more thorough introduction of each team member, so stay tuned!

We’ve got a new office!!!!!

As the university building unfortunately didn’t have enough space for our team we were told that we are getting a special place where we can do our work - a container! 

Now, it may sound a bit uncomfortable but the interior is surprisingly modern and spacey. We have an isle in the middle for meetings and several work places with PC’s on the side. Other highlights of our accommodation include a coffee machine and stationery supplies from the FH.

On the wall we have our preliminary project timeline / workplan. On the right we have the list of all our team members with their qualities and abilities.

After having several meetings in our new office we have grown to love it and appreciate the proximity to the university a lot.

Our team building experience

One week after the semester started in the FHSTP, we were divided into our final project groups and that is how we found each other.

To get to know each other better we were sent on an adventurous trip in the Wachau, Austria. Our group was put into some stressful and challenging situations where we had to work and make decisions as a group as we hiked through the mountains. 

After reaching our destination, the castle Dürnstein, and to give our feet some rest we were invited to take a walk around the vineyards and wine cellars of Wachau. 

The whole day and especially in the evening we were put through numerous challenges, but at the end of it we came out with a stronger team spirit and fun experiences we will remember for a while!

Welcome to our dev blog!

Hello everybody! Welcome to our brand new development blog. Here we will be posting regular updates about our general progress on the build of the Virtual Studio, information about the project, bits and pieces of code and much more. As we are still in the very beginning of our project, the update schedule might need some time to set, so please be patient with us. We are all looking forward to the months to come!
