New year, new m.....😂😂😂 So instead of doing this whole silly New Years resolution thing I decided to start making some healthy life choices/changes back in the fall. I've been working on my health issues since earlier this year. I had to address my PTSD back in March, when I finally admitted that it had in fact returned. Once the meds had it back to where I felt I could actually function normally again I started looking at what I wanted from my life. Being healthier, physically and mentally, is on the top of my list. My Fibromyalgia makes that feel like an impossibility. Between the fatigue, brain fog and assorted aches and pains I feel decades older then I actually am. Partial help with this kind of fell in my lap by mistake. At the end of March I woke up one morning and my right arm and shoulder were SUPER sore. Being as something always hurts I figured I just slept on it funny...... by the end of July, yes I waited a while to go to the Dr. 🙄, it was worse. I saw the Dr on call who thought it was to do with damage to my C7 ( that's a whole different story😂) because a couple of my fingers were numb the night before. He offered me pain meds, which I won't take, but I did ask for muscle relaxants. He prescribed me, cyclobenzaprine. Cyclobenzaprine, apparently, works great for Fibromyalgia pain for some people and I happen to be one 😊 Now how do I deal with the rest of the Fibro 💩...... I have a friend who sells Thrive. She never pushed it on me, never even tried to sell it to me. About a year before I asked her for a sample. When I mentioned that I had Fibromyalgia she said she had another friend who had it as well and found that the Thrive was really helpful for her. I got the sample and completely forgot about it. A year later I remembered it, tried it, liked it and decided I'd do that 8 week challenge. By day 3 no brain fog and not only no fatigue but an abundance of energy that I haven't had in YEARS❗️😜 Day 3 I signed up to sell it, its that amazing 😃 The problem with my arm turned out to be the tendon in my shoulder and bicep. I got in to see a wonderful physiotherapist who helped me get it fixed up and showed me some great exercises in case I start having problems again
