Murdock/Kelly - the way you are
hey <3
Hello, lovely! Thank you for always being a good friend to me and to others.
Tattoo question meme: a fox in a plaid vest and tie, a teacup in one hand and a sword (something slender and flexible, not a huge chopper) in the other.
I have this image hanging in my dining room thanks to @dotjpg! Exactly this image, even, if you assume the dapper fox's cane is a sword-cane. (As it obviously must be.)Amusingly, though, when I think of sword symbols for me, I lean less toward slender and more toward what you'll find if you Google "Methos Ivanhoe." Old habits.... Theoretically fighting more will eventually give me more practical sword style opinions.
one word meme: castle
My memories of this are somewhat scattered, but I remember visiting a castle situated on an island in Crimea, back when I was a kid, on vacation with my mom. It had to have been a leftover from Tsarist Russia, and was a museum by this time. What I remember most vividly is the sense of cold and isolation, gray rock on a huge scale, dwarfing us. (I wonder now whether it was a castle, per se, or a fortress...) I remember the sound of the Black Sea against the cliffs. I also remember the smell of bay leaves, but that may just be a scent I associate with Crimea in general.
I also remember me and my mom getting lost wandering around this island. The tour group must have given us free time, and we wandered off. According to mom, she completely lost sight of where we were, and I was the one who suggested following a stream till we reached the ocean, which is where all the boats and other tourists were. I’d like to believe this is actually what happened. I read a lot of adventure novels as a kid, and that’s exactly the kind of tidbit I’d have filed away in my mind. Good thing there was a convenient stream, I guess.
You saved us. All of us.
I just started taking acrobatics classes at a local place and when my instructor walked into the room she walked into my Agent Connecticut headcanon. She's this short, lithe-but-muscley gymnast lady and she was even wearing a brown outfit. I wish I could draw because I want to draw her.
Oh man, freelancerarizona would love this. You could see if you could get a picture with her sometime? Maybe someone COULD draw here. There are many talented artists.
In the weeks following the end of the movie, Jupiter uses her leverage as owner of the Earth to arrange for her mother to be “discovered” as the long-lost heir to a fortune large enough to set her family up comfortably for life. Jupiter then “enrolls in college”—at least, that’s what she tells her family. She fakes enrollment at a school far enough away that no one who knows her would be able to casually drop in on her, and then instead of attending school on Earth, she spends her time off-world learning more about the current state of the universe’s politics and figuring out what things she would be able to change, and how.
I misread the previous ask about "Let's Read Homestuck High" and thought I had missed a previous April 1 video where y'all read Homestuck while under the influence of marijuana.
Hahaha! Blaze it.
