Summary:

Series: Part 1 of Legends and Their Making

Summary: Fenris only knew Hawke for a couple weeks when he was positive he knew everything he needed to about the mage. He was flippant with a devil may care attitude that was dangerous for a mage. It keeps him at arm's length from Hawke until one misadventure with a little girl and a group of slavers turns everything Fenris thought he knew about Hawke on its head. The revelation is sudden and jarring, but far from unwelcome as the new sides of Hawke he catches glimpses of draw him in.

Note: the tag for the implied/ref non-con is simply there for hints at danarius' horrible abuse and my take on it. none of it will be written out, only fenris coping with it and hawke helping later on. it's really a 'just in case' tag to be on the safe side and not trigger someone.
