but sometimes a kiss is not a kiss is not a kiss. sometimes it’s poetry.

Some people chase to feel butterflies
I prefer nightmares
they’re more honest about what love really is
cause at least in them, you stay
The kind I never want to wake from
So I romanced the shit out of Alistair because YAAAAAAASS.
But I feel like I've betrayed my first love in Anders???
I need to stooooop.
Doing one of those fictional crush lists is hard for me because usually, I have more... protective big sisterly feelings or I can really empathize or relate to characters. And often enough, that love far outweighs the slight romantic attraction I have for some fictional characters.
And even with the characters I'm attracted to, if I ask myself what I want to do with them it's mostly "I want to be their friend and be important to them and talk to them and shower them with gifts and love". The most recent romantic fantasy I had about a character is imagining myself sitting on Honey's (from Space Dandy) lap and having her pat my head. That's about as far as it goes.
How can you refer to people who just wish to be able to see themselves as some sort of embodiement of "social commentary" or "political correctness" denying they exist at all because they are just a concept.
