it’s unbelievable how much life changes when a new baby enters your world. I’ve done it all before. More than one time actually, but now that you and your twin brother are here, it feels like a whole new experience all over again... and not only because there are two of you! There is something so magical about holding a newborn baby and I’m not sure you can ever get enough of it. I most certainly can never get enough of you and your brother’s heavenly newborn scent!

With three children under the age of one, getting one-on-one time with each child is difficult. But it makes the few moments when it’s just the two of us even more precious. You’re such a happy baby and there’s something very special about you. You have that certain look in your eyes... it’s so, I don’t know, perceptive? If that makes sense? I’m not sure how to describe it. It feels like you look right into people’s souls and you seem to sense what they need. It makes me feel incredibly excited to watch you grow up! I have a feeling that it’s going to be an amazing journey.

But that doesn’t mean that you can’t take your time growing up! Right now, I just want you and your brother to stay this little forever.

I love you so much, Avalon! To the stars and back. Always and forever.

Also, if you have more than one child you know how difficult it is to get all of them to smile at the same time :P I chose this picture of the many pictures I took because at least two of them smile at the same time AND all their eyes are open :P
