WORST job ever!
Day One
9+ hours and 12 clients later I finished my first day of fieldwork! The place is set up weird, but my supervisor is nice and shares my sarcasm and nerdiness. I'm kind of excited to start picking up my own clients soon... Nah, still scared shitless. Oh well.
I was accepted to a birb banding workshop on the East Coast :) Goodbye savings but hello to finally getting mistnet/Pyle/Eastern bird/structured banding experience!
interesting plants and stuff i saw exploring vacant lots
Two giant gartersnakes. A rarer orange morph and the more common yellow morph.
A shy noodle
Cache Creek. Saw a pair of Golden Eagles, Red-tailed Hawks, Unidentified falcon, and beautiful Turkey Vultures!
