Ruby: Back in Vale, I tried to stop Torchwick in the store he was robbing. He not only got away, but I got arrested for wrecking the store. I'm not making that mistake twice.

Weiss: Ruby...just because things didn't work out last time, that doesn't mean you should give up. Wanting to learn from your mistakes is important, it's how we grow. But if the takeaway is to not try at all? Then all you're doing is running away, and that's not growth.

Clerk: Um, who are you talking to?

Weiss: Huh? (Realizes that Ruby is gone)

(We hear the sounds of violence from outside. Weiss leaves the shop to find the beaten robbers lying in a pile in the street, with Ruby sitting on top)

Ruby: I figured it's better to wait until they leave the store before beating them up.
