I am beyond grateful to Coach @shanefazen for making a dream come true today. Godey is an absolute, huge fan of Shane and the outstanding work that he provides martial artists through Fight Tips. Those that do not know Shane. He is hands down, one of the most down to earth dudes you will meet. A phenomenal, educated and energized coach that seemingly can charge up any room and teach anyone in any setting and at any level. He came to my rescue when I struggled to find a birthday gift fitting for one of the hardest working, most caring and helpful kids in the world. (A kid that also drives me nuts as a parent sometimes 😂) Today was amazing and here is a brief breakdown. 😂 Godey had a somewhat of an awkward star struck moment (that lasted forever... 😂) when Shane arrived. Shane generously hooked Godey up with some of the best gear out in the market. Godey is fully rocking #FTGR Swag! Gloves, wraps, windbreaker, shirts, a FTGR gear bag, and then Godey had the chance to learn valuable techniques and details that Shane has learned, worked effectively and refined over years. This day will forever be embedded in memory, due to Shane being one of Godey’s role models in martial arts. But also forever embedded in my memory as a selfless act of generosity that will lift the spirit of a child forever.
