I went into the desert with one of my favorite bands (Figs Vision) to write a "gonzo" piece for Nylon Magazine. On the way we smashed some plates that held significance in my life, in a ceremonial letting go of the past. Here are some moments I captured of our trip.

If you haven’t heard of Figs Vision yet, and you’re much fond of groovy luscious indie dance music with bountiful swagger, you’re in for a booty shaking treat right now as we dive into the Los Angeles duo’s new video for sleek dazzling Elle You’re Walking. The video’s showy eye candy goes hand in hand with the colorful splashiness of Figs Vision’s exuberant sound. Funky fresh Elle You’re Walking certainly evokes Prince, alongside some Cherub and Skylar Spence, too. As the rest of the year progresses, Figs Vision will be revealing more songs and videos from a forthcoming album, and each episode will center around a specific character encountered on their bizarre yet true story of origination and inspiration.
