Adult Plance from my fic, St. Elmo's Fire.
I'm beginning an anatomy figure drawing art study following Michael Hampton's guidebook, Figure Drawing: Design and Invention. I'll document my progress here, feel free to follow along!
Starting off 2020 with these wonderful studies. I continued to work on my interior drawing skills, which no longer look like someone set the FoV to 20. My color paintings also finally started to look a bit more like actual paintings.

some figure drawing warm-ups in my sketchbook. if you've never tried sketching with a ball point pen, i HIGHLY recommend it. using a pen makes your marks more meaningful/productive and can help if you're unsure/hesitant when sketching.

i'm so proud of this, genuinely
the concept sketches for this project can be found here (link)

concepting and ideas for my final in figure drawing. the project specs were very open-ended, so i chose to draw my D&D character Virric in various poses.
(i'd like to remind that these older works are being posted long after the fact, so the final to this may pop up in just a couple posts from now.)
