Still Alive.....

Less than a week into the new year, and I already have plans to see Filthpact (for the first time since 2006, which I think officially makes me an old git), Hoax, Standard Fare, Fucked Up, Veronica Falls, and Propagandhi. Musical highlights of last year included seeing Doom, Xiu Xiu, Oi Polloi, Weekend Nachos, Negative Approach, Veronica Falls, Ceremony, Choking Victim, Fucked Up, Death Grips, Standard Fare, Discharge, and a whole bunch of others, especially awesome but slightly less well-known bands like Skiplickers, Eagulls, Porkeria, Queer'd Science, Etai Keshiki, and Afternoon Gentlemen. Anyway, 2012 was a fucking sweet year for live music round here, 2013 should be just as good. Especially if Negative Approach come back.
