When Shadow opened presents he did so very carefully, making sure not to rip the paper they came in as though he saw it as part of the gift itself. This was the very first Christmas he had actually celebrated and he couldn't help but feel a little bad that Knuckles had gotten him an actual present and that he had nothing to give in return.. Carefully, Shadow opened the lid to peek inside and reveal his 'gift'.. He'd certainly have to find a way to repay the echidna.
