I finally got around to finishing the third season and wow way to leave it on a cliff hanger.
In other news my Probability & Statistics course is going well.

32/100 - worked my butt off today, but wouldn’t truly understand class materials as much as I do without friends. I have the most lovely study group and an amazing support system at school.
When I started law school, I went in with a mindset of “I’m not here to make friends.” And while that was not my primary objective, I have fallen into a little study group of extremely intelligent and heartwarmingly supportive people. Yes, we curse like sailors and argue about the significance of one word in a definition. And maybe we pick at each other all of the time . . . .
But tonight I broke down and didn’t think I could muster the motivation to keep trying. I panicked (quite melodramatically) about our criminal law final that’s scheduled for Saturday. One of our group members not only talked me through breathing excercises to help me calm down, but also walked me through the concepts I was struggling with and answered my questions. In return, I offered my notes from contracts (my favorite class that my friend hates).
In sum, both of us walked away having been enriched by the other. None of us lives in a vacuum. And although we are smart, resilient, and forward-thinking, life doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Law school isn’t just about you. Life is about more than individual achievements. And I love the people I have met along this crazy path.
TLDR: Law school, like life, is a team sport and I love my teammates.
