Every hour or so today i think back on the backstory reveal we got for essek this week (and I think we are at a point where he is mentally/physically/emotionally where we meet him in the played campaign) and i go insane

Listen i love a character whos a dick just because of whatever, hes rich and entitled and whatnot, love that character but
To be so fully invested in esseks redemption arc over the campaign, and THEN ONLY NOW to find out what happened Before The Mighty Nein and it be as devastating as THAT????
