You’ve Changed.
You’ve changed because you’re still the same person from before but managed to set things right.
I’m just looking back at the old days until I met my old self, but my old self was different, she looks so toxic and how she used her own self loathing towards others. until one day everything change until she faced consequences, hold accountable of her actions, and was later forgiven by others. But deep down, she hates me, she thinks I was unforgivable. I wish I show her that I’m slowly starting to love myself and I hope she’ll accept me once I start loving myself again. And I hope that I’m starting my journey just to find myself and hoping that my mental state will improve this year.
(Fact that the first photo is what Pami looks like on 2023 before she changed for good)

I use to be the chaser / now you knocking me / thought I couldn’t be / when you left / it broke the soft in me / my spirit didn’t fold / even tho my world was crumbling / you acting out / but I’ve replaced your absence / and I filled it with my grace / and understanding / it’s not you / baby it’s me / damn how these tables flipped / I’m attracting / I’m a magnet / and your just a piece of a fragment / that I’m learning isn’t my companion / you were more a soul tie / blended with a lesson / twisted with a blessin / and im forgiving / becuz holding resentment / only keeps me chained / we’re free baby / cuz shit between us / could never be the same / when you stepped out / I stepped in / Your doubt / fueled my fire / I know who I am / I’m worthy of higher

Be Yourself, They Said
“Be yourself.”
That sounds nice …
Alright!
I’m off to be myself!
…
I’m back …
and it turns out ...
I don’t know how to be myself …
since I’m not fully certain who myself is …
I think I lost myself as the years passed … as deluges hollowed out canyons in my center … as stark, staring sunlight blazed away my colors until they’re so faded that … what colors were they again?
“Be yourself.”
What about those of us who have lost ourselves …
to whatever extent?
Whether a little was lost … or a lot … or even … most …
What about us?
“Find yourself.”
They say that so calmly … as if the grief of finding out I am lost doesn’t need to be grieved … as if the realization of having somehow mislaid one’s very own self
is
not
completely
terrifying … and something to mourn ...
And the guilt!! Oh, the guilt …
How could I lose even the smallest part of myself, of this spark they say with which we were born? Why didn’t I protect myself? Was I … not worthy of protection?
Hush. That was a way of protecting yourself.
That which cannot be found cannot be hurt.
But that which has been hidden to not be found … can be found … by those who hid it …
Consider yourself not lost,
just
hidden.
Like treasure safely tucked away from those who would soil it.
Not lost?
Just … hidden?
A search party of one assembled in the dark of a soul’s night … is the stuff of nightmares … this I know well …
But a treasure hunt!
A treasure hunt is a quest!
A party!
An adventure!
A treasure hunt feels …
possible …
It is possible … but it might not always seem so … you may have hidden this treasure so safely, so cleverly, that finding it is more of a puzzle to piece together, a mystery to solve, than simply retracing your steps …
That is okay …
In fact …
It shows how deeply you strove to protect yourself … what a brave little soul … who will always deserve protection … that’s important for you to remember, you know ... just by the way ...
Oh … really?
Yes. Always. Now. Off to find the treasure that is you, little adventurer. May you find smiles in the seeking to find and in being found.
Alright!
I’m off to find myself!
… or at least, I’m going to try …
That is all you can do … and therefore …
that
is
enough.
One step at a time, little adventurer.
One brave,
breathtaking,
bedraggled,
bashful,
befuddled,
beautiful little step
at a time …
Mötley Crüe - Find Myself
Another day is over, yet I’m still lost. I wake up, go to work, finish my shift as an Operations Agent, and come back home carrying the same unanswered questions. I’m grateful to have a job, but I can’t shake the feeling that I’m meant for something more—I just don’t know what it is.
