How to find your purpose and go after it.
I began to struggle finding my calling once I hit my junior year in college. I began to realize how fucking important it is to know that vital piece of information so you can at least somewhat enjoy making a living.
I received a BA in Finance. I’d say that was a COMPLETE mistake, BUT I did find it fascinating, especially when I learned all the shady shit people have learned to do with that knowledge. I’m not entirely sure what that says about me, but ultimately it wasn’t a reassuring career path for me. Ultimately, I realized too late or I was too chicken to do what I needed to do to change my career. That. And I didn’t know what I would change it to.
First-world problems, I know. Privileged person problems, I KNOW. Fekk.
But you want to know an added dilemma to this troublesome piece of theatre? We’re now in a pandemic that is changing the world and specifically changing the USA for the worst because we have a shitty leader, a bunch of shitty systems and just shitty, shitty selfish moral. So how does one find ones calling in a pandemic. No fucking clue. But perhaps that is my calling, to figure that out.
