Personal Happiness
If you are committed to being unhappy, you will be unhappy. The more you put your happiness in other people's hands, the longer you'll remain unhappy. You need to be able to see that the only person that can grant you happiness is yourself.
You tell your partner, "I've been unhappy for a long time now, and I don't think you can fix it at this point..." (Recently heard these words myself) OF COURSE THEY CAN'T FIX IT! The only thing your partner can do if you're unhappy is be there for you and support you while you try to find your way back to your own happiness. Your happiness will always lie in your hands.
Think if something you love to do; do it.
Leave that job you can't stand getting up for in the morning - after you've found one you truly enjoy.
Write down the good you experience. Write down the bad, crumple it up and throw it out.
Go for a walk - in nature if possible.
Commit to eliminating one bad habit at a time, watch how the weight lifts when you meet these goals.
Get your blood pumping! Endorphin release is key in maintaining happiness.
Meditate. Pray. Take a nap. Whatever floats your boat when it comes to relieving stress.
Focus on and appreciate what you have. You could have less. Be grateful you don't. A grateful heart breeds a happy life.
Dance it out. Sing. Run. Spin in circles!
BREATHE!
Above all, always be your true, authentic self.
