these were the types of cases that made her blood boil.    whoever the hell this was showed no fear of their presence  ,  in fact  ,  they seemed to take it as a welcomed challenge.    the sound of jj’s voice breaks her thoughts  ,  and amanda looks up at her with a shake of her head and a scoff.    ❝    well if i’m bein’ perfectly honest  ,  i’d like to feed whoever this is to a pack of wolves  ,  but y’know  ,  that would be frowned upon.    ❞    

lip is taken between her teeth before amanda rises from her crouched position next to their newest victim.    pulling her light blue latex gloves off one by one with a snap  ,  lips purse.    she lets out a heavy sigh  ,  hands finding her hips as she surveys the room.    ❝    he’s tauntin’ the hell outta us  ,  jj.    he knows we’re close  ,  yet he’s still bein’ this bold.    ❞

🎂 our muses bake a cake

flour is still settling like a soft snow in the air. sugar combining with it on the floor to make it look like the fresh fallen snow has magically appeared among her appliances. the smell of freshly baked cake wafts through her oven-warm kitchen and it reminds her of a better time. penelope is sitting on the ground, covered in flour and egg. michael is sitting in her lap eating frosting off of a spoon, smiling as he does. she smiles at jj and henry, also on the floor of her kitchen, eating their own frosting. so, baking with auntie penny had gotten A LITTLE out of hand, but she’s never had a better time dirtying her kitchen. ❛    well, i think that this was a successful outing to fairy godmother penny’s bakery. wouldn’t you say mama bear? i’m only slightly sorry that your sons are getting more than their recommended amount of sugar in one sitting.    ❜

he has a hard time looking people in the eyes these days , and very few could call themselves exceptions. he spends so many seconds , minutes , hours combing through minuscule —and likely insignificant— details , all of which could be set aside if he could only crawl out of his own head. but that isn’t how it works anymore. he’s so afraid of his own mind that he’s imprisoned himself inside of it instead. and it ails him. “ i’m not sure i could even if i wanted to. ”
