I am still in massive input mode. I went from @writersdigest annual conference, straight into #findyourreadersummit (still on today, and replays are available!) from @writingdaniel. One of the topics that has come up a number of times is the importance of an email list as a path to find and connect with your readers. Whether it is through @substackinc as @novelleist uses and recommended in her talk about various ways to serialize our writing, or a tool like @mailchimp or @mailerlite as @kristen_kieffer recommended in her talk about engaging your first 100 readers, an email list is becoming a standard among the writer platform must-haves.
